I'd do it on the 3rd. If you are let go on the 2nd it may disrupt the vesting. |

Op here. Just bumping this up. I’m surviving one day at a time, but it is hard. The holiday lunch is next week and I’m going to just go since it feels easier than putting on a performance of being sick. My doc gave me a prescription for Valium so I’m going to take 2 before the lunch and just zone out.
I had a panic attack on the way to work yesterday which was awful. Looking for any more tips on how to survive, or any subtle and legal ways to mess with my management in my final weeks. |
| OP give your notice the day AFTER you vest. |
Op here. Yes, sorry, thank you. You’re right. I’ll give notice on the 3rd. |
Triple check this - I'd hate for you to accidentally quit too early! |
Love you |
|
You're almost there, OP!
So happy for you |
|
Also work out more which will help with dealing with work.
|
| OP, are you taking any time off over the holidays? And even if you are not, I would guess your managers are? |
Op here. Thank you!! This is a great recommendation!! I’m going to try and do this. |
| I'm the bingo card poster from earlier in the thread. Have you hit bingo a few times? Another thing I did when my last place "let us go" but basically just told us we were done in 2 weeks. We didn't work those 2 weeks but showed up. I wrote a lot of ridiculous Haiku's during that time lol. There were ridiculous things that happened or were said during those 2 weeks and the Haiku's made me (and a fellow release) giggle. |

Oh no here he comes
Yelling and being a dick I got a bingo |
+1 you have to make it a game |
|
Best wishes OP!
Making it a game helps. One thing I did that was slightly vengeful was only leave the bare minimum in documents or files for my boss / successor. Delete, delete, delete your last few days. |
| 3 weeks come on op stop being so dramatic ffs. |
