Why are people in MD so rude?

If people in general are hating on Virginians it's just because they tend to be whiny and truly are the worst drivers on the planet. It's a bad combo

As someone from a totally different state who has lived in six different states, and local areas including Chevy Chase, Silver Spring, McLean, and Vienna, I can assure you that the state of Maryland is a piece of trash in about 20 different ways compared to Virginia. I say this as someone who is willing to commute from NoVA to Maryland for work just to avoid living in the state

*I should also add that I've lived in three different European countries (five cities). In all the countries, states, and cities I have lived in, nothing has come close to being as trash garbage as Maryland
