Read Freakonomics, they describe this case exactly but in reverse. Spoiler: crime will go up significantly |
Nothing wrong with that Plus kids who aren’t severe special needs of any kind |
well then maybe they should try birth control! |
That is a disgusting thought. You want to increase the domestic supply of infants so it's easier for you to adopt? Because more women have been coerced into being your baby momma? OK Serena Joy. |
Almost everyone wants fewer abortions, and most of them want fewer unwanted pregnancies, better birth control tech, and social welfare. |
This. Most moms will keep their babies, but not have the resources to get the kids the help they need. Expect a crime wave in 15+ years, worse than the one happening now, more like the 70s. |
The conservatives have had 50 years to help make birth control easier to access and more easily available There has been no talk about what hurdles poor women face in getting reliable good access to this and other health care I am convinced that talk like yours has nothing to do with the morality of abortion. You just want to punish a woman for her sexuality |
Republicans definitely don’t want any of that. |
They’ll have to get pregnant themselves then. If they can’t, too bad. |
Tons wrong with that. |
|
Republicans are horrible
Mtg comments screw anyone who still stands with her |
Abortion is birth control. |
I’m quite certain that the God you claim to believe in would never support taking a baby away from her impoverished mother just because there were wealthy people around who would like to raise her. I’m 150% certain of this. You kinda need to go to Jesus 101 class if you think Jesus putting “love into your heart” would lead to advocating for the wealthy people to take the child. Jesus stood up for the POOR. He railed against the rich. And hypocrites. And people who prayed ostentatiously while doing nothing for the least among us. If you actually CARED in the way Jesus exhorted us to do, you’d be supporting organizations like Save Our Sisters that provide financial and logistical support to mothers who had been coerced into considering surrendering their children for adoption because of economic pressures. These are loving mothers who you would like to exploit in order to provide your rich friends with infants. If you truly loved Jesus, you’d be caring for these mothers so they can care for their own babies. But you don’t. You idolize wealth. |
Could we all try to remember that there are lots of infertile women who are deeply sorrowful about not being parents but are not in favor of these horrific social policies nor champing at the bit for the opportunity to benefit from another's misfortune? It isn't all of us. |
