St James Winter Indoor League

You really have no proof the director is responding. This forum is filled with anonymous crazies. A 13 year old probably has you pulling your hair out.

Yeah! Go in there and demand to talk to the manager! 😂 remind everyone there that you pay their salary and that your wife/ husband/ cousin three times removed is a lawyer. 😂

Don’t like the st James, don’t spend your money there. Even if your kid’s team is playing there doesn’t mean you have to sign them up. Stay home and wash your Tesla.

Who are the leading girls HS teams at Saint James?
Anonymous
who cares, means nothing compared to the spring season. Just wait another month or so until the spring season starts, then you can start causing more drama with that question.

Many teams not complete (girls missing for any number of reasons) and borrowing players to play games. Best teams are often who can pick up the best players to play with them that week. At this point we are a month out from real games, so who cares.

GC, SR, and Visi.

It doesn’t matter as a whole other than it’s stick time and some of the girls get to knock off the rust.
It’s fun to watch (other than watching through the net sucks) but it really doesn’t matter because of the missing players, the short field and general format.

As a coach I can tell you none of us care who wins or looses these games they are nothing more than tune up’s for tryouts and a chance to maybe see a couple of the new girls to the school that’s all.

As a coach also yes I’m out there to evaluate talent but no matter what I’m doing or what situation I’m always out to win.

+1. As a coach, I still want to beat my rivals regardless of if it is during the regular season, fall ball, or indoor. You'd be foolish if you don't think the girls don't also want to win. All teams have girls playing winter sports and other obligations and yet most do their best to have their best vs top teams.

If winning is not important, then why is SSSAS not in the top bracket?

Silly goose. You release the brackets were all seeded out differently based on a number of factors and there is not a "top bracket"? That's why you see some cross-division games. I realize your house may look like the underside of a DC overpass, but stop trolling...

Anyone know the WCAC rules for head coaches being on the sidelines and actively involved in winter indoor / off-season girls lax games? Is this allowed?
Anonymous
Great question. I was thinking the same thing when seeing the GC head coach on the sidelines and working the refs for 2 games Sunday evening.

Yes. WCAC allows for a certain number of hours of coaching hours a week during the offseason and that includes practices and indoor games. It has been like that for a few years. Not all take advantage. Really only GC and SJC coaches.

Do you really think a coach would attend a game at STJ if they couldn't?

How many hours are allotted per week for a head WCAC coach? Who keeps track of those hours? Who monitors to ensure compliance? You seem to know the rules.

I don’t recall any other WCAC team (beside GC) with a head coach on the sidelines at TSJ this year.
