How do you feel about Joe Biden running in 2024?

If we can retire federal employees at 65 and private forced even earlier even though they need money then their should be a cap for office as well.

How does one say this nicely, DeSantis is weird. He’s uncomfortable in his own skin, zero charisma, comes across and mean and uptight. At least Trump could be entertaining (horrible person still). DeSantis will melt in the spotlight. I can’t wait to see Trump tear him apart then Uncle Joe will beat The Donald, again.

ITA on DeSantis, but I think the GOP may go ride or die here with DeSantis. They are hugely freaked out by losing. It seems like the 2012 post-mortem is coming true.

And Democrats aren’t?! The desperation on this forum is palpable.

The GOP is hugely freaked out by the losses they took in the midterms. This month. You can spin how unpopular, senile, decrepit, or whatever else you think Joe Biden is, but so far he's overperforming in spite of it. Cry more.

As long as Harris doesn't get near the presidency -- I'm good.

Let them continue to underestimate him...that is his secret strength. The more he gets accomplished, the more they will ramp up the senile b.s.

This. He comes off as smarmy and a whiner. Have you heard the guy speak? He will be destroyed.

DP. I completely disagree. When I see DeSantis, I see someone strong and resolute. The contrast between him and Trump is striking. I don’t think DeSantis will have any trouble winning the nomination over Trump.

+1

I’m not voting for trump but I’d definitely vote for DeSantis. I actually thought trump had good policies that were good for the country but he just couldn’t stop saying dumb shit. DeSantis doesn’t do that.

What Republican would you vote for if DeSantis doesn't get the nomination?

Yeah, "saying dumb shit" was the only problem with Trump.

DeSantis is done. He was always over-rated, He has no charisma, He's not quick on his feet. His policies, such as they are, are the usual, knee-jerk own the libs nonsense you hear on right wing AM radio - no abortion after 6 weeks, vaccines are bad, concealed carry for everyone, and a pro-Russia foreign policy. Among Republicans however, he's dropped about 15 points over the last month. Trump is like the Eye of Sauron and once he turned his attention to DeSantis he withered just like all the others - Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz et al. LIke it or not, Trump will be the nominee. And so the fate of the nation will depend on the health and mental acuity of an 82 year old geriatric from mighty Delaware. Democrats really rolling the dice here. Biden vs Trump. Yay. Really awesome democracy we have here.
