Does anyone know if this is also the law in DC? Our daycare recently started allowing us to come in for pick up, but we still are not allowed in for drop off or to check in on the child during the day. Or to nurse.

Small, in-home daycares most often don't have any of these crazy rules. You may want to consider one of them, versus the huge center-based places with these ridiculous blanket policies.
