KID Museum moving to Bethesda Metro?

Where they locate themselves is not the issue. However given the space they need going to one of the most expensive areas/spaces seems absurd. MCPS should be getting free programing from them if they are giving them that much money. It makes zero sense when it is not helping MCPS students and at best, a select few. Convenient for who? School kids don’t travel by metro and parking in that area is a nightmare. Most people don’t live right by the metro. And, it’s not free or low cost so it excludes many families.

You do realize that there are many schools with very unsafe conditions and that money would have been better spent on repairs. Or, more social workers and counselors if the mental health needs that MCPS said are so great.

Now, did they actually fill and create all those positions or did they waste it on bocce where we have no idea where the kits are.
