Forest got the trees people! Imagine if I said Trump gave money to a museum where his wife would later become Director of Communications, you would cry foul. Then if Trump’s cabinet member who was receiving millions in funding to found this museum via his wife later was selected to replace a Cabinet member who died in office you would be equally horrified. Both of these things happened with kid museum. Yet because these people are liberals (my theory) defending a failed system you adore (Public school) you are blinded, it seems, by their poor ethics. Need an IG for MCPS stat but you will say the IG is too expensive!
This has nothing to do with the discussion.
Nice try. The question on the table is whether this is money well spent and I am showing you the corruption in MCPS. It’s in a Bethesda for a reason! Cognitive dissonance much?
Where they locate themselves is not the issue. However given the space they need going to one of the most expensive areas/spaces seems absurd. MCPS should be getting free programing from them if they are giving them that much money. It makes zero sense when it is not helping MCPS students and at best, a select few. We all know the corruption and its everywhere, not just MCPS but sadly no one is able or willing to do anything about it.
You seem misinformed. By locating in an area that is well-traveled and convenient they will have far more visitors which is kind of the point.
It's an oddball location - if it's been hard to lease consistently, perhaps they got a good deal.
It was a food court years ago.
