West Po's Maryland commit is like that too, playing various positions. I believe he scored the team's only goals against Robinson. But one player can't carry a team against a deep squad.
I don’t think MadLax is actually broadcasting the Robinson Lake Braddock game. Unless they have a different broadcast team Cabell just finished doing the Landon Bullis game.
Probably bc it’s all VLC studs playing against each other
Probably right - not much of a game anyway. Robinson is blowing them out.
Except lake Braddock has a couple VLC guys and Robinson is mostly Top Caliber kids
Isn't Robinson's best player (Marquette Commit) a Madlax player?
I think most players on both teams are Top Cal players with a few from VLC, Madlax, Next Level, Express.
I think Robo even might have a couple Blackwolf players too.
Yes, but if Landon is playing on the same day then they are getting the broadcast.
Yep. That’s the way the lax biz works. I was actually surprised madlax would even consider streaming a public school game.
LB has 4 VLC 23s that are top shelf and the young buck goalie is as well along with Express and Top Cal kids sprinkled in. Robo has Madlax, VLC, Next Level, Express, 5 Blackwolf 24s, and a big group of TC kids filling out the roster.
Crazy but LB may actually move up in the rankings after getting blown out. Yorktown has to drop and LB beat Madison head to head not too long ago so Madison can’t really jump them.
Tough call - Yorktown loss wasn't nearly as ugly - though obviously against #8 Langley (versus LB against #1 Robinson). And Robinson's been blowing out everyone. But given stakes/lead-up to that game, think I'd have to give edge to Yorktown and keep them at #4 and #5 respectively. Will be interesting too see what the "Unofficial" rankings say tomorrow...
I don’t know how Yorktown stays ahead of Langley after just losing to them. Madison seems to be playing better lacrosse and could be the third or fourth best team but the losses to Yorktown and LB complicate everything. It is going to be interesting.
Yes though Yorktown was #4 and Langley #8 when they played this week - no chance Langley should jump that high for just one game. Yorktown should drop slot behind LB at most - and Langley may gain one slot - or honestly even stay the same - at best (esp. with overall performance this year). I'm putting Yorktown on just having off game in that one. Agree Madison may deserve to leapfrog both Yorktown and LB after their performance over past couple weeks.
