Where is FCV going to get their roster from next year? Arlington is probably stuck with what they have due to location.

VSA just beat Richmond strikers this weekend and the Jefferson cup has them playing in the 4th division. Major LOL.

Who can beat a team full of giants? Most should be playing 07/06s. Period.

Hilarious. Exactly the perspective of 90% of teams playing Arlington or Richmond. All of you are wrong. If you are sufficiently well coached and skilled, you can beat giants that play kick and run. If not, then you lose 1-0. Over time, the development matters more than the results. Suck it up and move on like everybody else.

Strikers are pretty clearly the best at soccer which is better for their development and will translate best as they move into 11-11. It doesn't mean they will win every game.

VSA and Arlington play a similar style, although VSA is more skilled all around and more composed in the back, so they play it better.

SYC tied Strikers and lost a close game against Loudoun. VYS tied VSA and lost a close game with Arlington. Those teams aren't getting DA kids next year, but they play good soccer and can hang with anybody for this season at least.

It is quite hilarious hearing Arlington red team parents complain about the size of the players on the other teams. This is Arlington bread and butter. Arlington’s system works if you are playing smaller less athletic teams. If you play a team with similar athleticism(or better) and size, it comes down to technical skill and soccer ability. The third flight of the Jeff cup should be safe for you. VSA should clean up in the fourth. Medals and trophies for everyone!

If you saw the Arlington VSA games, you would in no way say VSA was better. The first goal they scored was a clear goalie error. Just a long shot from mid field she misplayed. Same thing happened in Wags. They are in desperate need of a goalie. The second goal was off a penalty kick. The game was pretty even through out. The Richmond Strikers however are a much better Technical team than the other top teams including Louden. They are such skilled passers and have some outstanding players.

Yeah but this is the second time they have lost by the same score. I can see your point if it was a one off. Penalty kicks mean the other team is in your box. You have to give VSA their due.

Arlington has one really good defender and are hard press to score against similar competition. A really good defender will keep you in a lot of games(specially at u12 on the small field). Scoring only gets harder next year. I wonder if any of the other teams in the area will come after their defender(recruit her). If Arlington losses her they will be hard pressed. The games I saw Arlington’s midfield did not show well.

As for the RS watching their midfielders make 3 or 4 quick one touch passes through the midfield and the final 3rd in tight space was pretty cool for u12. It looks like they will have a very strong midfield going forward.

This is stupid to argue. Strikers and VSA will never play each other again at this level.

VDA and Strikers next year. Both teams will be different next year.

Yes so stupid. Let’s talking about something that has not happen. Yes next year VSA will have all those call ups to the NT.

It's all stupid to argue, but these two teams are in the same league so they will play one more time in the Spring. Top four of Strikers, VSA, VYS, and PWSI will probably stay the same. It won't be the same starting in the Fall.

VDA did not show up for the ASIST tournament. Why even talk about them?

And next year the best players on the VSA team will be on VDA. So this is a stupid debate.
