Anybody else disgusted with the Clinton wedding???

The $3M is a total guess/speculation by the media. We have no idea how much it costs.
I am also pretty sure the name "Clinton" comes with a price premium and they couldnt throw a $20K wedding if they tried. They'd also have to spend a lot less for discretion and privacy if they didnt have the media beating down their necks. |

| Yeah, I'm indifferent about it. I don't put a lot of stock in the cost estimates so I'm not disgusted. It could go either way: vendors could ratchet up the prices because it's the Clintons or they could do things for free because they can always say "we did Chelsea Clinton's wedding." We just don't know. |

Very little considering this is the wedding of a future POTUS. Kidding... maybe.

I'm also guessing that a "normal" wedding these days would be out 1) because of heightened security (not all expenses would be covered by the gov't), 2) social obligations with a father who was POTUS and mother who is SOS. Who knows what the actual costs are, though.
If the media (and internet) were not what they are today, I have a feeling the wedding would not be as big a deal as it is. |

She put up with so much of our shit for years when she was a girl. More power to her.
Jenna, on the other hand. People had to put up with her shit for years. She deserves to tone it down in later life. |
