Biden's VP?

This is going to get so much scrutiny because you are effectively voting for potus.

Biden won’t live to see 2022.

Whitmer is emerging as a total bad@ass. It occurred to me the fact that she's a sexual assault surviver could help offset the Biden allegations.

Why are you still discussing this? He picked Amy months ago. The choice has been made and you all know it.

How/why do you think this PP?

What’s fun is you, hopping on every few posts to swear it’s Klobuchar, and the other pp who hops on less often to say that for sure it’s Warren.

(Of those two, clearly Warren would be the better choice. But no one outside the campaign knows yet, and I’m not even sure they’ve decided.)

He may have suggested it to her to get her to drop out, but she still has to go through the vetting process and they still have to run polls and evaluate whether or not she strengthens or weakens the ticket. She may have been told she would be the top choice for the ticket, but without vetting, it wasn't going to be a done deal.

The next 2-3 weeks will be the real confirmation, not that there is a VP vetting team in place. They will actively dig and research.

Chris Dodd and Ron Klain will decide.

Do you think these two will pick someone other than klobs?

His VP team is Chris Dodd, Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester, Cynthia Hogan, and Eric Garcetti.

Why do some men have to trivialize every conversation by bringing up sex??! It is disrespectful to female candidates (who you are objectifying) and immature.

The problem with Warren is that the Senate may be in play and we need to keep her seat a D. If she is on the ticket and they win, then her seat becomes an R until they have an election. That is really difficult to get around as the numbers are too darn close to be frivolous with one seat.

The other is that both Biden and Warren are Mid/North East coast.

There’s a pretty simple possible workaround for Warren. If she’s tapped as VP, she resigns and then there’s a special election.

Then she’s out her Senate seat if she and Biden lose.

There have been articles about how this could be managed so that dems don't lose her seat. Apparently there are at least three ways to accomplish this. Also, she can easily play up her Okie roots.
