Powell isn't interested in actually winning this case. She's a good enough lawyer to know that she is on the wrong side of law and fact.

She's filing all of her losing loony motions in the court of public opinion, where, among the Qanon crowd and Flynn stans (who are mostly the same people), she's batting a thousand.

The incoming NSA had lots of history of casually passing along classified material to other countries. And he was talking to Russia a lot (and taking their money without properly disclosing it).

Comey was being cautious. The right (used to be alt-right) sees this as a problem.

No, it shows that Rice wrote a last second CYA email (15 days after the actual meeting) to make it look like they wanted everything "by the book". Unfortunately, for them, everything was not "by the book".
