With Love, Meghan on Netflix

It is, and so are her fashions. She is terrible at quiet luxury, and her clothes don’t suit her boxy upper body.

Cringe.

It’s even cringier because Sussex isn’t even their last name. Their last name is “Mountbatten-Windsor.”

Is it also cringe when they call the William and Kate family “Cambridge” or “Wales?”

The cringe factor is the demand to be called Sussex.

Agree. If she hates being a royal so much, she should stop using her Duchess title and go back to the name Markle, which made her semi famous. You can't have your cake and eat it, too.

Didn't she say she wanted to have the last name as her children? Is that so bad?

She said it in a baby voice and it was very off- putting and strange. If people want to change their name, fine. I personally didn't but it's a normal thing to do. What's not normal is giving your supposed friend (or email penpal, whatever) a dressing down for calling you by your maiden name. So weird!

And apparently it is not her legal name. She just wanted that moment so she could do the "Duchess of Sussex" thing.

It’s really not anyone’s name. Harry’s last name is Mountbatten-Windsor, but ONLY direct descendants of the queen/king can use that last name, meaning not Meghan since she married in. So maybe to get even she’s going to pretend Sussex is her last name, which is fairly bizarre considering it’s a principality she has her duchess-ship over, not an actual surname. Very strange

It’s not that strange if you know anything about the royal family. They usually use their title as their surname. Harry and William both used “Wales” as their last name in the military; Will’s kids were “Cambridge” until Will and Kate became Prince and Princess of Wales.

I know plenty about the royal family, and you might find this video educational, since you seem fairly clueless
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cixbj3WARJI

That's not educational, that's just a video with a woman b itching about Meghan. That says nothing about the concept of royals using their titles as surnames, which, btw, you didn't even acknowledge.

You must not have watched it, she didnt spend almost any time "bit ching" (classy use of language- are you from a lower socioeconomic background?) about Meghan, she was literally explaining the intricacies of royal names across various countries. But then you seem highly uneducated and classless, so not a surprise you cant follow a 10 minute video.

Lol. No, I can follow a ten minute video. I just don't want to when it's the royal family version of a Megyn Kelly or Candace Owens podcast. I'm not gonna listen to someone yell about something inconsequential for 10 minutes.

Considering youre squatting on this thread arguing with everyone about it, you obviously find the issue of her surname fairly consequential. Just say you have no attention span and have brain rot and go.

Nope! I can post here just as you can.

Curious that you accuse me of having no attention span and brain rot and yet your response to my written debate point was a YouTube video followed by "Are you poor" lmfao.

And "are you poor" or "did you grow up poor" is a valid question given how atrociously you speak, lmao

Nothing compared to the pro-MM ones, that just hang out in this thread endlessly arguing and freaking out on anyone who has a slightly negative thing to say about Meghan. And then getting defensive and angry when anyone points out how dysfunctional they are. Just a sad existence, tbh

The beige thing goes way back to her influence by Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, who died in a plane crash with JFk Jr in 1998. Bessette Kennedy was known for wearing Calvin Klein inspired outfits in beige and black Her style was very influential . There are photos of Meghan doing exact copies of the outfits.

She has never had the body of CBK and is clearly using Ozempic, which won’t fix it. She also never had the connections nor taste to wear Comme des Carcons. There’s no style or taste in Meghan’s fashion, never has been. Draping that Jenni Kayne sweater over her shoulders to “cook” and be a busy busy big B to Mindy Kaling was mos def a lewk but not a good one.

And that's okay that it's classist, lol. Especially since this is a discussion about members of the royal family- I mean classism is kind of woven in, lmao. Get over it. And yeah, spelling and syntax are correct- but I've never seen anyone who didn't grow up poor throwing around terms like "bit ching". It's a very obvious tell.

These are such weird personal attacks. "Uneducated" and "classless" over a discussion of a reality show?

Why are you so triggered that people have sussed out your economic background? Is that an issue? People are able to make observations- did you think you were coming off a different way or something?

I'm not the poster you were arguing with! I just think you're weirdly personal about Meghan and anyone in support of her. Hope this helps!

And I think you're taking this weirdly personally and getting wayyyyyyyy too upset about simple class observations! I wonder why! Hope that helps!

Cringe.

It’s even cringier because Sussex isn’t even their last name. Their last name is “Mountbatten-Windsor.”

Is it also cringe when they call the William and Kate family “Cambridge” or “Wales?”

The cringe factor is the demand to be called Sussex.

Nope! I can post here just as you can.

Curious that you accuse me of having no attention span and brain rot and yet your response to my written debate point was a YouTube video followed by "Are you poor" lmfao.

Sure you can, but if you have enough time and energy to argue vociferously on here without actually bothering to educate yourself on the issue, and admittedly dont have the attention span to watch a 10 minute youtube video, then people have every right to make fun of you. And "are you poor" or "did you grow up poor" is a valid question given how atrociously you speak, lmao

Just chiming in here but a) assuming that all poor people speak atrociously is kind of classist of you but okay and b) I don't see anything wrong with that post grammatically. Cursing, sure, but spelling/syntax are correct.

You're saying only poor people curse?
