Are you kidding? This thread and Twitter and Reddit have scrutinized every aspect of her life and said the worst possible things about her. Celebrities talk about negative attention and how hard it is to cope, and this 100x. Several people on this thread have suggested dressing up as her for Halloween. Her parents have been vilified, mocked, and demeaned. That ship has unfortunately sailed. Thanks to the court of public opinion she will be branded a loser, fraud, liar, lunatic, and [insert other negative adjectives here].

You really seem to be struggling to understand this. Maybe this chart will help

Opinion? The Hoover PD laid it out pretty well yesterday. No opinions are necessary. There are plenty of facts

Yet, they refrained from ridiculing her. It is public opinion that will always haunt her. Not the law.

You mean public facts, not opinion

I’m having withdrawal pains. This thread/story was a great past week and now the book is in its final chapter but we mostly know the ending except some final details.

1. Will she be charged
2. Will her parents see the truth
3. When will she post or appear in public
4. Does she start an Onlyfans
5. Who were her helpers
7. Will Chees-Its use this for an ad campaign
8. Will spa workers sue or press charges
9. Did she get her car back
10. Will toddler be offered a scholarship by Nick Saban
11. Is big rig still driving around town

The police released the 911 call of her reporting a 4 year old boy toddler walking barefoot on the side of the highway. Operator asks her if she has the child, and she says no, she's in her car watching the child and that she would "keep an eye on him" until the police arrive.

I don't think there is any human on the planet that would just watch a 4 yr old in a diaper (a 4yr old is not a toddler, nor do most wear diapers, but whatever) walking on a highway. Just about ANYONE would get out of their car and grab the kid before he wandered onto the road or got hit. Right there, she's lying.

This entire situation is so sad.

What I'm getting from these events is that this is a person with mental health issues, who perhaps fantasized about an escape from her life, then bad things happened, and she may have been assaulted. Which would explain why the police is being very sensitive.

I refuse to judge, because there is a lot of mental illness in the world, and I don't think it's right to criticize without knowing the person.

No. Bad things did not "happen". She did bad things on purpose. There is no evidence that she was assaulted; she made it up. There is also no evidence that she is mentally ill. Mental illness is not a catchall excuse for bad behavior.

The rest of us can judge her. Because now other women may have a harder time being believed when they may legitimately be in trouble. Because of people like Carlee.

She didn't want to escape from her life, she wanted to get the attention of her ex boyfriend, either to punish him or to manufacture a reason for them to get back together.

I agree she is mentally ill, almost certainly borderline personality disorder, and she needs help. But she's still responsible for her terrible decision making.

Has she been diagnosed with a mental health issue? Honestly, I am sensitive to this because my child actually has bipolar disorder, and not all bad behavior is due to mental illness.

If that were the case, I would empathize, but CR is a spoiled narcissist who did this for the attention of her ex-bf and others. The police are being sensitive to give her the opportunity to come forward, but she is instead on vacation and fighting with people on social media.

She wanted attention and she got it. And I agree that it is plain wrong to blame stupid behavior on mental health.

And maybe next time instead of mobilizing quickly to find missing women, people will be like "let's wait and see...."
Let's let the facts unfold and then it might be too late for someone really in danger.

Her Facebook and Instagram are still public. I'm not on either but I have seen lots of screenshots.
