They’ve kept their encounters hidden from the family in the past by her choice.

The woman in the green dress could be Sophie - doesn't really look like her in the preview but who knows. I think he and Sophie have a nice heart to heart and that's it. I don't think Cassidy really wants a relationship but is happy for "companionship" every now and then.

Somehow they have become closer during the building of the house and formation of the Big Three construction company. Cassidy was in charge of the project so it would make sense if she continued to be integral to the business.

older people on their second marriage don't generally have a year long engagement, do they? they also don't have a wedding like this (which seems sort of extravagant for a second wedding.)
