????? No
People that know about the fights are the ones that would respond. You don’t know and should not be posting. Those of us that know are concerned about the violence at the school.

This video Saya its a special need kid who is targeted.
The child who was murdered in Germantown was also a special needs child who's mother begged the school board to remove her child to a different, more appropriate school.

Mcps is all gung-ho Ani racist but does absolutely nothing to try to instill understanding, empathy or respect to special needs kids and they are targeted in all schools.

This isn't unique to any high school. This is mcps not giving a darn about SN at all.

OP here...I only heard that there were fights which would soon be publicized not any details. Thank you.

Op, come on. There are fights everyday at any given MCPS schools (less at W schools but still kids fight). MCPS has changed. It's not like 10-20 years ago. Fights are not even newsworthy anymore (unless guns and knives involved).

There were fights 10-20 years ago just no video. It’s not “worse” it’s just that parents expect more.

I am more than sure there are MORE fights now than 10-20 years ago. I honestly don't think parents expect more from MCPS but other than that, I agree 100%.

I graduated from Mcps in 1993. I don’t recall fights making the news when I was in school. They had fights , in fact the most were in elementary schools. The most vicious fights were girl fights

+1. I don't remember fights either.

bingo

you can stand around and record it, or you can break it up, especially when one of the participants clearly isn't a willing combatant.
