Disturbing instance of anti-woke brainwashing

So yesterday, I go to pick up a pizza from a local spot near our house in the DC suburbs. A bunch of the pizza delivery drivers are in the parking lot, taking break between deliveries. Some are dozing in their car.

One of the drivers is sitting on the asphalt ground, smoking his vape pen, and animatedly talking to someone on the phone:

“Yes, the Woke need to be eradicated and destroyed. I don’t care how we do it, but everything and everyone Woke needs to crushed. That’s what Trump was all about, and why Biden is a disaster. If we don’t destroy the Woke, this country is done.”

He kept going on and on, repeating himself to whoever was on the phone. I hustled my kid into the car, as my kid could tell the guy was angry.

Wtf is happening in this country that a pizza delivery guy is spending his time so angrily talking about “Woke”?
