Murder at Lululemon in Bethesda

Thank you.

After reading this thread from beginning to end I am shocked that the Bravo network could not find more dramatic women in this area to make Real Housewives of DC more interesting. They clearly did not read or post on DCUM for casting calls. Two things are clear, there are a lot of white women in Bethesda who think that every black person surely must be jealous of them and out to get them and you cannot work at a yoga store unless you practice yoga. Very logical ladies. Very logical.

It is an oxymoron! She was FAR from self aware that is for sure. I still think they should track every place she has lived to see if there are any unsolved murders and use her DNA to see if they could link her to them. She went beyond the scope of just feeling hate for this person or racial injustice etc. She has displayed her rage such that it doesn't occur to me that this is her first murder. She was a bit too into it to think that she somehow made a mistake. It seems as if she somehow enjoyed it. Then to spend the night with the dead body says that she was pretty damn comfortable being around not only a dead body but one that she mutilated! Think about it. Like a savage animal.

Where did this come from.....out in left field?! I hate to say this but I can only assume that you are black that you would show up on this site and make a racist statement like that! You are SO off base and even worse you believe what you just said! that is too bad...sorry that you go around in life thinking that way. I hope for you that one day you can just be another person in the world without judging other people over some lack that you seem to feel.

People on this thread are calling this a racially motivated hate crime. Their words, not mine. A woman was brutally murdered by some psycho, it has nothing to do with race. And I happen to be white.

There are a FEW people calling this a racially motivated crime. And there are more that aren't.

This part is the part that is most over the top. Where are you from PG county?

(Two things are clear, there are a lot of white women in Bethesda who think that every black person surely must be jealous of them and out to get them and you cannot work at a yoga store unless you practice yoga. Very logical ladies. Very logical.)

Where did you come up with that idea?

Yoga, the practice that is all about self awareness, self control, achieving inner peace, namaste. How did she come to work there? Its so incongruous, isn't it?

I wonder if this was a drug fueled rage? Not as if that is any less incongruous.

We will find out in the tox screen. I am thinking a light dose of PCP, or withdrawal of something like cocaine, or steroids (she was an athlete).
BTW, to the posters about race, I do not think that she was thinking of Jayna's race when she was going through the neck...I don't think that she was thinking.

I think you guys watch too many crime dramas.

It's hard to rationalize what was never rational.

Exactly! Many seem to want to turn this irrational, CRAZY murder into a rational explanation!

Ok this article is extremely ignorant! I think if one "audited" the discussions on this thread they would note that there were many people who thought the victim had something to do with it or did it. Me being one of them early on in this exact thread and then being called a monster for doing so. However, why the hell would I call into a tip line and say that the victim had done it when I knew nothing about the the evidence, the people, or was witness to anything. It was my speculation, a smart speculation I might add. Why would they think I would call in to give my "hunch" on this because the tip line is used for actual tips and witnessed things. And the cops knew immediately. I dont care that they did not admit it, they dont have to. The knew something was f-ed up as soon as they saw her "injuries" and her damn rape kit came back with nothing. Dumb article with no insight and poorly written!

I can't believe people are bragging about having "known all along". It was obvious from very early on that there was something shady going on. However, given that there was even a slight chance that Brittany's store was true, it was difficult to make accusations without being aware of the evidence. That slight chance gave the slight possibility that such accusations would have victimized Brittany even further (in the case that her story was true).

I just can't believe we're getting all of these "I told you so's". Grow up, people.

First off I did not say I "knew all along." Second, its not bragging but it is pointing out the fact that I was called a GD monster for stating my thoughts on the case which turned out to be right. If I had not been right so be it, but I would not call out people for the opposite views and to some people it was not obvious slick. But they were the ones name calling. Sorry if this drudges up the crap arguments again but oh well. Everything brings an argument on DCUM!

Just STFU. No one cares about you or how you felt about it.
