For the ISL, heard Potomac went 0-2 but had close battles. Think Visi went 1-1 where they Lost to Loyala academy by 1 in OT who the saints blew out 20-6. Always a great event to see all the talent. Saints 2-0 as well as SR 2-0.

Saints won 20-4. The other team did not score after the first quarter. The “atrocious” saints offense from SR was non existent. Best ball movement and motions some parents said they had seen all year against a well coached team.
I watched it. There was no defensive pressure on Saints offense no wonder “best ball”
movement. Nothing like SR game but that defense nothing like SR. SSSA easiest game all season. Visi maybe missing some top players in their game against same team.

I know I said the last loss was due to coaching, but this one really is the refs fault.

No. It really wasn't. One team was out coached because MH made adjustments.

1 - GC until someone in the DMV beats them. Last local loss was to Visi in 2023. They've beaten Visi twice since.
2 - SSSAS - Due to their victory over SR this week.
3 - SR - A win over Potomac this week will keep them at 3.
4 - Visi
5 - Potomac - aka "spring break"
6 - SJC / PVI - Winner of this week's match up.

Agree with this list. GC point valid and makes them #1. SSSAS is definitely number 2; wish they played GC. 3/4/5 make sense for now, but they will decide it on the field as they enter their round robin. #6 goes to 2nd place in WCAC, but would argue that BI at least gets to be in that tournament. Monday PVI v SJC game will provide more info, however.

Watched the Visi v Loyola game and Visi had all their girls… Obviously the SSSA game v Loyola was nothing like SR game but that was definitely not Saints “easiest game”. That is a very strong Loyola program that is very well coached.

Good Counsel 80%
SSSAS 77%
Stone Ridge 74%
Visi 67%

This doesn't account for strength of schedule, but looks like GC has been the most consistent over the past 7 years

SSSAS beat GC 18-7 on 4/30/22. That was the last time they played. GC might have the better winning percentage, but make no mistake about which team has been most consistent.

SSSAS has certainly been consistent. Since GC's last DMV loss April 2023, they have lost in the DMV to SR x3, Visi x2, SJC, PVI & Oakton.

Potomac was in lead against Notre Dame Prep most of the game. Had chance to tie in last minute but turned ball over. NDP very well coached. Great lacrosse game and Potomac should be proud of how they played today.

Agree. Great lacrosse games today at the Saints Spring Fling. Impressed with all the talent that was out in the fields today. Thank you Saints for the invite and best of luck to all the teams the rest of the season.

I can’t believe Potomac played 3 full games in less than 24 hours. That’s crazy.

All these players and families are friends too. Saints girls are always rooting and cheering for the Potomac girls, and likewise. They are competitive on the field but many play club together and are long time friends. 3 games is alot on the legs!

SSSAS really challenged themselves in their own tournament. Good games for every other team.

You might want to direct that hate towards your coach and AD for scheduling a Friday night game and accepting the invite.

Or is that on SSSAS too…
