Keep your eye on the Madison vs South Lakes game, an upset here wouldn’t be a surprise. Could Madison go 0 for 3 this week?

Don’t know who is writing about bloody and bruised practices. Probably a pretender trying to cause drama. Safe lacrosse will always be a priority.

Madison will play tough every game. South Lakes can run with anyone and should not be taken lightly. Still think Madison beats SL. As for SSSA that’s a whole different story. Scheduling is not optimal for Madison this week.

Chantilly beats McLean 5-4 last night. Both goalies played well. Chantilly’s goalie is outstanding! She may be one of the top 3 goalies along with West Springfield & Battlefield goalie. Really nice to see talented goalies in public school.

Have you watched every goalie play in the Region? Pretty bold statement to make. Seems like Madison, Centreville and South Lakes figured it out!

Chantilly’s goalie is a Michigan commit and came over from Flint Hill. She is very good (along with Battlefield’s, Dominion’s, and Oakton’s goalies), but no goalie will have a good game if the defense is letting opponents get plenty of 1v1 opportunities against them.

These three stand out as the three best in the state at 6A without a doubt. I am seeing Oakton’s goalie move up in the rankings as well.

And yes, we do know all of these goalies as the lacrosse world is small, but the goalie lacrosse works is even smaller

No one is saying that these other goalies are not good. They absolutely are good goalies without a doubt. However, the above mentioned goalies stand out and most of them are actually D1, which doesn’t mean everything, but it does prove that that have been vetted by more than just this sorry group of old men

If I am not mistaken coaches vote for All District, All Region, and All State. Let’s see how they cast their votes. May the best goalies be named by actual coaches who know what they are talking about.

All State is usually only based on the players from teams that make the State tournament, so not always a true indicator

Yeah, this is actually the worst way to determine who the best is. Many coaches want their seniors to get rewarded over a younger, better player. It is not actually the best indicator. Very disappointing

Chantilly goalie is legit and extremely fun to watch. Big reason why the Chargers are more competitive this year along with other talented field players and all 6 teams in the Concorde District ranked top 15. Even in losing games she has come up with high save percentage.

Was at a recent lacrosse game and was surprised to hear cowbells all game long. Reminds me of the SNL classic skit -- "More Cowbell"!!
