Anyone looking forward to the Grammies Sunday night? Predictions? I really like Brandi Carlyle’s album. Also heard Muni Long on NPR this week and am now routing for her for Best New Artist. Lizzo seems to be polarizing, but I love the positive messages of her music and hope she walks away with something. Bonnie Raitt’s song Just Like That is gut-wrenching. Have been a fan of hers for decades and love seeing her recognized. I guess I’m showing my age when I say I’d also like to see Elvis Costello win for Rock album. Thoughts?

My kids think the Coldplay BTS song is trash. I like old Beyoncé material, but I’m not a fan of her new work. I heard a review of her album that compared Renaissance to “throwing sh*t at the wall”. I can see that. Måneskin is good, so here’s hoping for a good show!

On Beyoncé, I know that she keeps making music, but it has been 15 years since she’s recorded anything that I like to repeatedly listen to.
