Agreed.

So you all know that each of these 100 boys is a radical right wing teenager??? You know their backgrounds, their thoughts, their political and ideological beliefs??? No. You don’t and neither do I and no one posting on this thread does. You should be ashamed of yourselves. This entire thread is disgusting and disgraceful and I am appalled at so many ignorant posters so eager and happy to judge. Seventy plus pages of it. Unbelievable.

Really? Then why are they all wearing MAGA hats?
I think we all know A LOT about anyone who appears in public in one of those hats.

MAGA hats =They support Trump, who doesn't respect women, or people of color, and rips illegal immigrant children from their parents with no plan to reunite them.

You don’t speak for me, or I daresay, for many people who have posted. And you sure seem pretty judgemental.

It’s just that the pictures paraded about by MSM and lefty sites are now debunked by the entire video, and people watching it and seeing it’s not at all what was broadcast.

Spin spin spin libs. We don’t need wind turbines to generate energy- libs should just be hooked up to a device and their wild spinning of any situation could power the US and Canada.

So many self-hating white people now.

Oh, but there is

https://www.courier-journal.com/story/news/local/2019/01/21/covington-catholic-runswitch-pr-helped-student-in-controversial-video/2638400002/

Asked about its role, RunSwitch released a statement saying that the firm "has been retained by the Sandmann family to offer professional counsel with what has become a national media story. We are working with the family to ensure an accurate recounting of events which occurred this past weekend.

Speaking of having enough money to spin a story.

Basically teenage boys were in DC to protest women having a choice in their own health care and weren't smart enough to just move on and not engage with confronted by extremists, so native Americans decided to help calm down the situation.

If the school, the boy and his parents apologized and thanked Vietnam War veteran Mr. Phillips, there would be much less controversy. But instead they've hired a PR firm to spin it.

Imagine the MAGA / Fox news uproar if this had been a black person kneeling and smirking during the national anthem. Or just kneeling.

So, if these are religious people..why hasn't there been any apology?

Why haven't the people who are so offended at football players kneeling been offended by the acts of these students?

BHI is a HATE group. WTF can't you all get it through your thick, dense heads that they're just as much to blame?

Racism and bigotry are based on the psychological inability to see your own prejudice.
People pre-judge people or groups based on white/black liberal/conservative Catholic/Atheist,
and then passive-aggressively blame the group for "making me hate them".

It's easier to understand if you think in terms of classic child abuse psychology
"why do you make me slap you..."
but the prejudice is directed at an entire group of people rather than the spouse or child.

I have to grudgingly respect the Black Hebrew Israelites for owning their bigotry and prejudice. "Know thyself"
They're comfortable with themselves and "I hate whites, Catholics, anybody wearing a MAGA hat, and Jews".

I have begun to lose respect for the passive-aggressive bigots who pre-judge people on race, creed color and politics,
and "hate whites, Catholics, anybody wearing a MAGA hat, and Jews" but then shift the blame for their own hate onto the people they hate, so that "it's your fault for making me hate you".

WTF? You respect the Black "Israelites" because they're forthright with their hateful bigotry? The way some of you justify bigotry by certain groups is despicable.

It's a hat. A piece of clothing. And, these kids still have a 1st amendment right to wear the hat (at least for now, but I am betting many of you would like to see that right diminished). They have that right to wear it where they want.
And, I don't see how wearing a MAGA hat in the African American history museum would be a problem.

I don't see why it is.
Just like I didn't see why a couple of girls walking on the campus of Howard wearing MAGA hats should be harassed and the hats taken.
Are you saying that POC aren't tolerant? Are you saying that POC just look at the color of one's skin and not the content of one's character?

Don't be deliberately obtuse. And the scenario you describe is hardly the same.

You are well aware, no doubt, that MAGA is associated with White Nationalists like the folks who terrorized Charlottesville. Are all MAGA folks racist? No. Are all racists MAGA folk? In my view and experience, most of them are. And there has been no attempts by Trump or the GOP to disassociate from that (what did he call them? Good people?) So, walking into the museum the celebrates African Americans sporting a hat associated with people who hate POC, yeah, that's provocative. Even if the wearers aren't racist. It's tone deaf and reeks of privilege.

You realize there are many POC who support President Trump? You act as if black people are all in lock step.
Besides taking his words out of context, and demonstrating your bigotry, you're batting 1000!

The Catholic kids couldn't avoid them, that is where they had to be to get their bus.
They stood on the steps and took all kinds of nasty verbal insults from the adult Black Hebrew Israelites.

A couple of kids got tired of turning the other cheek and started trash talking back.
Then the kids started school cheers to drown out the stream of BHI "white-devil", "fag%(%" insults.

And then Phillips decides that, instead of walking on the clear path of stairs, he should march straight through the kids who are standing there.

Anyone wearing a MAGA hat at this point is a steaming pile of sh*t. As are the people who defend them. Next...

Isn’t assuming that “anybody (insert bigotry) is bad” the functional definition of “prejudice”: pre-judging people based on their religion, their skin color, a hat?

Oh my God this is so sad I don't know where to begin. If you showed up at a playdate in a starched white hood, would I be wrong to judge you?

The people with the starched white hoods defined themselves as racists.

You are defining what someone in a red MAGA hat is.

Do you see the difference?
