She was head juror and was chosen. If one lied, all could have. Furthermore, I'm betting that her anti-Trump and anti-Stone activism was known and that's why she was chosen. Ditto the others.

Yup. I am not for illegal immigration. I should not be chosen to sit on a jury in, say, the Kate Steinle case. And if I was and my tweets came out that I was anti-immigration, you would be protesting like hell, and rightly so. And you know it.

I bet Adam Schiff has a subpoena all typed up for the day Trump pardons Stone. He’ll just have to hit “print.” Stone will lose his Faith Amendment rights with a pardon and will be required to appear before House Intelligence. Stupid Trump probably doesn’t know this.

It doesn't matter. In this country we have the right to a fair trail and putting someone like that on the jury - head juror no less - taints the verdict.

The head juror doesn't really do much other than be the point person to communicate with the judge. If you have ever served on a jury, you would know this. They don't "sway" votes.

Also, there is no evidence she lied during the jury selection process, and in fact, was upfront about her politics. That Stone's counsel didn't strike her is on them, and this on Stone.

That isn't how jury selection works. Try going back about 15 pages where someone posted parts of the questionairre and transcript of her responses to questions. She isn't selected in a vacuum, and Stone's attorneys had every opportunity to strike her from service.

That would've worked in the old America. But in the new America, where people can disregard and ignore Congressional subpoenas with impunity, it doesn't matter.

Unless Congress uses its inherent contempt power and starts locking people up in their own jail, who'd going to enforce that subpoena?

Trump could be the first “president” impeached for a second time if he pardons Stone. Trump is clearly acting against his oath of office.

I don't like Roger Stone, but I think he deserves a new trial because of the juror. I also think Jackson should not have said what she said about "covering up" for Trump. That was not the charge.

The charge was lying to Congress and he lied to Congress about what Trump said.
