Those on this board from the DC area will recall that in the horrible home invasion in NW DC 10 or so years ago, the intruder ordered pizza. Many criminals are not smart or mentally stable. They don’t all behave rationally. We are talking about a very disturbed individual. So who knows what that person might say in a ransom note or do while in the house??? Did Charles Mansons’ followers act rationally? What about the night stalker? Was he a rational devil worshipper? People want to believe it was the Ramseys because the alternative is too horrible to comprehend and makes us all vulnerable and potential victims.

In the case you worked on, was the family’s fingerprints and fibers all over every piece of the murder evidence? Didnt think so. Was there evidence of an intruder? Probably.

And did the intruder hang out for hours with three living people upstairs, supposedly unaware the whole time? And bring no supplies to commit the crime? And neatly put back the pen and paper after hanging out to write a lengthy ransom note?

I guess you missed the part of that post about how you can’t assume rational behavior in a situation like this.

And he did bring supplies. And took things too, including part of the paint brush.

If Burke and Pat were fast asleep in their rooms, the intruder theory would be believable but we know Pat was wearing the same clothes and makeup from the party and Burke was up at night playing with his toys, eating pineapple, and moving around the house at night. We know JonBenet was napping in the car according to John who said he carried her into bed. We know the parents said they didn’t drink at the party so Pat wasn’t wasted or anything so there’s no reason why she would be in the same party clothes and makeup the next morning unless she didn’t go to bed at all that night. We know Burke was possibly awake and recorded in the background of the 911 call despite his parents claiming he was alone in his room asleep (apparently they were unconcerned about their other kid getting kidnapped by this intruder)

Some people sleep with their makeup on and throw on what's nearest to get coffee first thing. It's not really hard to imagine.

It wasn’t a party. It was a dinner at their friends house regardless Patsy had on select and sweater. I could totally see myself throwing that on to catch a plane early that morning.

This poster above is stretching so so much info. Most of her claims are untrue or only half accurate. Re clothes. Patsy apparently had the same sweater on from the previous nights dinner. I do that all the time. You throw an item of clothing on a chair and throw it on in the AM when you get up to make coffee or whatever. This hardly means she was up all night.

People like this poster seriously concern me in that their analytical skills are so weak and prone to conspiracy theories. I can only assume this person is young. Is this how dumb young people are now??

Yeah, I honestly don't know what she did all day. Tons of help and her house was disgusting.

We know she didn't care much about laundry or hygiene. To be like "Patsy would never!" I mean, come on.

Burke hit JonBenet over the head, Patsy freaked out and staged the murder scene. John was in on it too.

Only story that makes sense.
