They thought the house was "too big" and "too confusing". Hearing that their housekeeper in Atlanta recognized Karr I have no doubt he was responsible. He clearly stalked her, most likely broke into their home multiple times to get the lay of the land before deciding when to take her. He knew grandma's nickname. He went through their home and their things.

He knew too many things about the crime and the family for it to be a coincidence. If this happened today, and had the same screwups they still would've tried Karr, and he wouldn't been convicted.

As John said Patsy just finished chemo and had a clean bill of health. She wouldn't kill her child for peeing the bed. My kid was still having accidents when she was 6-7 (super heavy sleeper) during covid when we were working and homeschooling. As exhausted as I was no part of me would've done anything even remotely towards my child. None.

Literally the police said she was killed by the blow or the neck, nearly at the same time. You're telling me Burke, John or Patsy sexually assaulted their child and then killed her? No. This was a psycho pedophile obsessed with JonBenet, believed they were in a relationship and in love, and was ready to make his fantasy real.

I feel for John, Patsy and Burke. Their family was dragged through the wringer by the media. The Boulder PD are solely responsible that this killer is still free.

I thought it was proven that Karr (Kerr?) wasn’t even in the state at the time of the crime. Like he was in North Carolina or something.

Correct.

Wasn’t that just because his family said he was? Seems sus to me.

But he didn’t fly there. There are records of those things. And he was at work like 4 days prior and seen around the area on the day of the crime, in the eastern southern US (Alabama? I forget). He couldn’t have physically done it. Which is why I was annoyed the documentary focused so much on him. He physically could not have done it.

Um, sure. Explain the multi page ransom note the mom clearly wrote.

They don't know that she wrote it. It was on her stationery, but not definitely her hand writing. Also, Burke was a small child. I cannot see how he could possibly have done all this. Reading Patsy's body language throughout the entire thing tells me she is grieving. I just don't see how she could do this. Plus, the strange DNA has never been fully explored. I think they should run DNA test on her underpants and the rope and put it into an ancestry database. I'll bet you come up with Kerr or the real perp.

Ditto. This mess is on the boulder PD. the parents did not do this. I do think they were sloppy and encouraged a pedo though with all that weird pageant crap. But that’s not a crime.
