When are the scores going to be out?
Anonymous
Hopefully before my kid graduates in 4 years. Didn't they take these tests last spring?!?!
Anonymous
Maybe they are not coming out at all, perhaps the scores are bad enough to not release them

It’s a sign that the scores are absolutely terrible.

Yet everyone is gifted and gets straight As in mcps, especially dcum kids 😂

Do you mean this test they just made up that everyone fails? LOL Maybe they need to buy a real test that conforms to national standards.

I hope the school decides to burn them. My kid had Covid during the testing period and had to start making up on the day of return to school. Think it is awful to do that to a recently sick child!

Yep, this. MCPS is failing our kids but if they can hide the test results, they can put out more press releases about how great the school system is.

Whoa, decline in math proficiency in cohorts of this year´s 7th, 8th, 9th graders are 24-26 percent.

Never. I can guarantee you that the school results will NEVER show up in the Thursday emails that offer '5 Things You Need to Know'. Parents don't need to know how bad their kids scores are.

There is no possible way the MCPS PR team can put a positive spin on the MCPS scores, so they will ignore them.

dcum can be awesome, thanks PP for posting the mcap results, albeit they are for the whole state.

22% avg math proficiency for grades 3–8,
44% avg ELA proficiency for grades 3–8.

not surprised, in seeing the remedial work they're teaching students. in 3rd grade, they're still teaching r-controlled words (spelling)???? isn't that what they should have learned in K or 1st?

so sad.
Anonymous
oic, for MCPS:

31% avg math proficiency for grades 3–8,
53% avg ELA proficiency for grades 3–8.

great to be front of the pack, mcps
