I wish we could have conservatives be so engaged on threads where actual crimes were committed. Instead, y'all direct your attention to one of the few "fake" instances.

It should be interesting to anybody paying attention that the media was very careful to describe the hoax as alleged whereas when reporting the original crime the word was used sparingly and many commentators added their own editorial comments to the story such as "this is the America we live in today." I want the media to report the news without agenda or bias and on both sides this seems to be an impossibility. I tend to watch the BBC in the mornings for news now and otherwise use google news online.

Being mocked and humiliated doesn't preclude him from getting help. I am more concerned about real victims of hate crimes who will not have a harder time getting people to believe them.
