MOCO BOE update: Beidleman Report summary

Accept for bullying and harrassing teacher to do their bidding. I know I was non renewed as I was badgered everyday to inflate grades and bury crime and violence in the classroom. Then althea lied to unemployment and said I resigned. I don't recommend the teaching profession. It's to abusive toward teachers and corrupted.

MCPS clearly has some issues with leadership competence and integrity at the central office level but let's not forget how awesome 95% of the teachers and admin staff within the schools are.

And in the end they found nothing really sinister went on here so it's time to move on.

That's what their own lawyers concluded, not the inspector general. Waiting on her report.

These lawyers are pathetic. They take their clients' money and hide their clients' dirty laundry.

However, in this case, they take the taxpayers' money and hide incompetent MCPS administrators' dirty laundry, against the interests of the taxpayers.

We are not moving on and we're going to root you and your toxic ilk out of our school system. Sleep with one eye open.

This. Can't fire a few scapegoats and say oh well. This time it's different.

Yes, we will not rest until we find a way to pin this on Monifa regardless of facts or evidence!

We don't know that anyone has been fired, except presumably Murphy.

I thought you said referring to her as Monifa was racist?

English Lit teachers should be happy - this discussion is utterly Shakespearean: told by idiots, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing

You have a hard job defending her but don’t worry there are no consequences for poor performance in MCPS (which is good for you because your defense of her has been terrible so far).

Then he should be restored to his principal position.

He should be put in a position where he isn’t directly over employees such as teachers who feel vulnerable weak and threatened. He sounds like he gets off on intimidation and bullying. A clear abuse of power.

He should be banned from working in education.

BEYOND terrible. If you're gonna defend Monifa, at least try harder than this. Pathetic.

So the conclusion is nobody did anything wrong.

No, the conclusion is their policies and procedures are full of holes.

No, the conclusion is they didn't intentionally conspire to do wrong. They just utterly failed at their jobs and didn't follow-up or communicate when they clearly should have.

They should be fired for being incompetent.
