I work from home and usually have the TV on for back round noise. This sycophant coverage of the queens death parade is unwatchable. I have turned to the weather channel.
Yeah...The queen dies. The King took over. I got it. Next.
Never turned it on. I think people in the US who are obsessed with British Royals are off (see the threads here where people are ready to kill each other over Kate Middleton vs. Megan Markle) and the monarchy itself is an outdated concept that has caused far more harm than good. Also, I'm Irish Catholic so eff the lot of them.
Never really tuned in and I'm already sick of it. Should've gotten a day of coverage and then moved on.
|
I don't have the tv on unless I am watching something specific, BUT I a already worn out on it from it being all over various online news sources and social media I follow.
And there is STILL a week left before the funeral. |
It’s absurd here. They can stop everything in the UK but we need to keep calm and carry on here. There’s plenty of actual news that they are ignoring.
I get all the news I need right on this forum.
I'm queened out.
Never watch cable news. Never.
I keep the TV on while I'm working too. Today it's all Christmas movies.
Didn't our country denounce loyality to the British royality a few hundred years ago?
It's either Donald Trump or the queen. Pick your news
I'm amazed people can concentrate with the TV blabbing
I would have loved to have watched all day but didn't have the time. Also don't have cable so I had to settle for youtube clips.
We are a Republic. It’s unpatriotic to fixate on a monarchy. I agree, enough is enough.
