I didn't make the 'of the people' comment - you know he's also President of BAFTA, United For Wildlife, Royal Mardsden Hospital, and the British Sub-Aqua Club. He has pretty much nothing to say on them. In fact he elected to skip BAFTA this year (because they mocked him last year on Sussexit) prior to Phillip dying.

Where were his comments on the poor treatment of NHS workers?

He had 2-hour talk with Charles and William after the funeral.

When they came out of funeral, Kate was chatting with Harry and then stepped back to let the brothers talk. The 3 all walked together like in the past. Kate had a very close relationship with Harry for over a decade. He called her his big sister and she used to cook dinner for him. They joked around a lot.

The photos of Kate comforting Charles on the steps post-funeral were heart-warming. That woman has class and heart. They said she was looking at Harry sitting alone during the Funeral like a 'concerned mother'. She does a lot with mental health---and her own brother suffers from severe depression.

You might be right about all of that. But Princess Michael sure was making a point of some sort when she wore that brooch when Meghan first met the extended family. Obviously I have no way of knowing what the rest of the family did or didn’t do in response to that. And obviously I have no idea how Meghan herself felt. As a Black woman who has spent a lot of time in majority white spaces, I DO think that this welcome-to-the-family gesture is one that might be both painful and difficult to dismiss.

Nope. She lives in Kensington Palace. She is not an embarrassing family member they've cast out and that Meghan wouldn't actually see.

I am British and in my 50s.

In the UK largely, Prince Phillip was just considered a national embarrassment. For his inappropriate and often racist comments.

They started to keep him quiet in the 80s at some point, considering him to be a bit of a diplomatic disaster zone.

That is all I have to say on him.

The outpouring is really for the benefit of the Queen who is well loved.

He was almost 100 years old. How many woke centenarians are there? Not saying it's okay, just that he's partly a product of his time, and old people are not as mentally agile as younger people.
