Teacher, but pet sitting during the summer. Damn, some of you have really dirty homes

If you ever want a glimpse into how others are living, do some pet sitting from time to time. Some people have some really messy and dirty homes. I'm not talking a pile of papers/mail, or dishes from that day, or kids toys spread out on the floor. Some of y'all are gross. It must have been at least a month since you vacuumed or picked up after yourselves.

I just did drop-ins for a couple that recently recovered from covid (mild) - you'd think being home all the time, they could have tidied up a little. Nope. Clearly not for quite some time.

Your pets are cute, but some of you should be ashamed of yourselves. I myself am a pet owner - level up and clean up, guys!

I don't need the money - I have a few side hustles in the off season, and taking care of pets is easy pay. Why not? But look, I've had pet sitters before - how hard is it to tidy up? A little messiness is one thing, but some of you should be ashamed. Clean your damn homes. If your homes are so expensive, surely you can afford someone to do it for you?

Uh huh what? I liens, no mortgage, I own it outright. And I take pride in it, which means I take care of my space. Many pet owners do. Some clearly have no regard for their homes.

Oh honey, I do. But I find it so adorable that you have to scrounge together pet-sitting jobs and then take jabs at people whose houses are bigger and nicer than yours. Keep cleaning your shoebox and dog-sitting! It’s too precious. Look at you with a summer job you complain about…just like a 16yo!
