I’m doing elliptical 4 hrs/week, walking 1 hr twice a week, swimming 45 min/ week, following a gf/ Mediterranean diet and drinking only water or homemade herbal teas. Is this enough to get to my goal? Would you suggest anything else? |
Has this worked for you in the past? Why are you doing it? Is it about fitting into a dress or seeing a specific number on the scale? You can lose water weight fairly easily if that’s what you are trying to do. Personally, exercising doesn’t do much for me in the short term. Eating high protein and vegetable diet that is also very low calorie would likely drop the weight for a short period of time but obviously the only thing that will keep weight off is a lifestyle change. In general, I think crash diets and fixating on a specific number is for the birds |
Lower your calorie intake by skipping dinner. Mild starvation always works. Exercising just made me gain weight with more muscle. |
you need to eat a lot less and cut out the sugars, fats etc
focus on fish, vegetables, low sugar fruits like apples and cherries (avoid pineapple and melon - very high sugar) cut out white flour, pasta etc I have lost 12 lbs since the middle of May. Goal is to lose another 12. |

Take Sudafed? |
Strict keto |
Just eat homemade chicken soup for a month. As much as you want. |
Have coffee, skip breakfast, eat two high protein meals a day with veggies. Do not eat after 6:30pm. |
male or female? current height and weight? These things matter. |
Why do you need to do this? You do realize you are doing damage to your body by extreme dieting, right? |
You need to be doing some weight training. I would do Intermittent Fasting, only eat between 12 -8 p.m. |
Try Weight Watchers! They aim for your weight loss to be 2 pounds per week. You could easily lose 8 pounds in a month on WW.
It was a lifesaver for me and I’ve been on it for 3 years now (at lifetime for the past two years). |
This is good. Cottage cheese and canned chicken is your friend. |
Why not eat fresh grilled/roasted chicken |
