Do most people come home, cook dinner then shower or reverse come home, shower, cook dinner?

If you are coming from outside the house, from work for example. In which order do you do this?

Random question but I’m interested to know. I like to shower before cooking and cook in my robe over my pjs. It feels awkward in reverse to me. I realized recently just how stuck I am in my routine.

I don't know anyone who showers at that time. Its either in the morning before going to work or immediately before going to bed.

I don’t shower when I come home unless I’ve been working out or coming from the pool or something.

I shower once in the morning. Very rarely, shower before getting into bed.

Two showers in a day is wasteful and bad planning.

Agree. Maybe right before bed (like immediately before) but almost always in the morning.

I shower mostly in the morning. Sometimes right before bed in the summer if I feel gross. Never when getting home or around dinnertime.

Yes? I don’t shower in the morning. Not right when I come home like OP but sometime between dinner and bed.

Same - one shower unless yardwork was involved.

I shower in the morning, then before bed. I never shower before making dinner, especially in my pjs because I don't want the food smell on me when I go to bed.

I know quite a few adults who shower at right right before bed, especially in the summer or if they are outside a lot (either b/c of sweat or pollen, etc). And some people don't have time to shower in the morning.

I shower in the morning. I will shower again if I’ve had bug spray on. It would probably be before dinner if I wasn’t going back outside.

I get the shower at night if its super hot and/or pollen. But I don't get how showering at night can replace morning showers. Yuck.
