The driver has to live with knowing he took a life, so that sucks. I wonder how many times the carjackers have successfully taken cars or committed other crimes with no consequences.

They got what they deserved. So many carjackings and the criminals get away scot free. Look at the murder of a doctor in Adam’s Morgan. Our mayor made it look like the car jackets didn’t mean to run him over with his own car. Probably didn’t mean to kill someone, she said. I’m not into guns at all, but with so many floating around, at least this one was used in legitimate self defense.

How many people would this bother? I am pretty sure it would not bother me if I killed people breaking into my house or car jacking me. Is that a minority view?

Good. One less carjacker off the street. If this carjacker had been caught by the police the DC criminal justice system would have had him on the street within days.

I mean it’s still likely traumatic even if she’s glad and it’s completely justified. Not criticizing her in the least just pointing out this still is awful for her.
