Meghan and Prince Harry are moving to the U.S./Canada - OFFICIAL

It sounds like they get very little from the queen and most of the money they get is from a trust. CNN said it was 5% which isn't going to make a huge difference to them.

WTH? They clearly weren’t planning on staying in U.K. long.

This has mentioned by me twice already in this thread. People keep skipping over it. To me, it’s huge and says they aren’t discussing anything, merely informing.

I think Meghan and Harry expected the Queen and Prince Charles to roll over and cave to their demands (like they ALWAYS DO). The Firm has bent over backwards to give them everything they’ve asked for. Why should this latest plan be anything different? They underestimated the public backlash for disrespecting the Queen.

I think the Windsors have underestimated the public backlash against them IMO. This is the trending topic in Arabic, Spanish, French, and English globally with more than 80% of the pieces sympathetic to the Sussexes.

Honestly, I don't think they've 'bent over backwards'.

They gave them the same wedding they gave Eugenie. Which means it was standard far for a royal.

They gave them a tiny 4-bedroom house when all the Queen's children are living in massive 20-bedroom castles and Will+Kate have 12-bedrooms between their two homes.

They sent them on tours which is good - but that's also work and Meghan was expected to be the most photographed woman in the royal family without the benefit of a permanent hairdresser/makeup artist or personal dresser. Both of which Camilla and Kate have.

The basically gave the Sussexes what was required nothing more when Meghan/Harry are the stars and crowd-drawers of that family whether they like it or not.

Beyond that, they didn't utilize Meghan at all. She gives brilliant speeches, talks, and can host forums. She could have easily been sent to do UN Women talks with Sophie, had some appearances at refugee camps with WHO (as she's done in her past), and opened up diverse media conversations on network talks.

Instead they shamed her and asked her to be quiet.

You are delusional. The overwhelming response is that the Sussexes should be stripped of their titles.

Try again. The world is on their side watching racist Britain burn.

A majority of Canadians want Prince Harry to become Canada's governor general

Trying to distract from Archie?

This photo showing up again and again is certainly ... distracting me. But not from Archie.

They would be wise to think of Fergie’s life after she left Andrew. Fun for a few years then people became less interested. The queen should say I love you as my grandchild but she has a duty and no to parting royal with no process to make sure the don’t tarnish the crown.

Told you -

She (the Queen) ordered the Prince of Wales and Duke of Cambridge to find “immediate solutions” to the crisis as she fought for the survival of the monarchy at all costs.

Still reeling from the scandal over Prince Andrew’s friendship with paedophile billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, palace sources say the family is at a “huge crisis point in their recent history”.

Charles and William told their teams this afternoon to “drop everything” and arrange meetings with No10, the Home Office and their US and Canadian counterparts to come up with proposals for a solution in “days, not weeks”.

All they had to do was stick up for the biracial royal and newest wife of the royal family.

He's 6th in line and will keep dropping if Will has more kids and grandkids. Harry's kids will never be in line so what is the point of him staying and playing the role?

Maybe it’s really miserable living in that family. Who knows.

Every part of their life is dictated. It has to be miserable. The women cannot even choose their own nail polish color or clothing styles.

Dramatic much, QEII? Survival of the monarchy? It’s not like Charles and William are the ones leaving.

Do you know any Brits? She's right.

Why would they go to Canada? They don’t have family there, do they?

I bet they come to the US. If had meant Canada they would have said so. I thought they had bought or were looking at houses in LA.

Perhaps the time is right for the world to forget about princes, Kings and queens. What is the whole point anyway? Just an excuse to be a useless person

Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but I think their security detail should continue to be funded no matter what. Harry is a very high-profile public figure and served in Afghanistan, both of which paint a huge target on his back. Like it or not, he's part of the British national image. It is not in the public interest for him to be assassinated or kidnapped for ransom. For the same reason that American taxpayers fund Secret Service details for former presidents and their families. For something to happen to a Bush or an Obama would be a national humiliation, making us look weak and too incompetent to protect someone properly. Avoiding that is worth the cost.

Then he can pay for it; he is certainly wealthy enough to do so.

Bit better than prior life as a D List yacht girl spinster, my dear.

Reminds me of Usher when he married the older woman. She was a controlling mother figure. Had a kid or two, then they divorced and it got ugly. The same will happen here. She has the gullible sap under a spell and is isolating him from family. This is a lifelong pattern for Meghan the conniver.
