If Harry walks away from his title I’m sure the reaction will be very cool and even around here and not at all EVIL WIFE FORCES HUSBAND TO GIVE UP TITLE, ABANDON THE SAINTLY QUEEN so yeah that should go well

Inequality, yes, by definition. They are literally the embodiment of the class structure. Racism, though? Hmm.

Well, yes, that too.

It's obvious they like their titles. They refer to themselves as their royal highnesses and the duke and duchess in every other sentence they write about themselves.

They inherit their power through familial ties. That is tribalism. Don't let the pomp and circumstance fool you.

Exactly. And the trademark of course.

Meghan already returned to Canada. A different approach to having an anchor baby, I guess.

"Charles and William told their teams this afternoon to “drop everything” and arrange meetings with No10, the Home Office and their US and Canadian counterparts to come up with proposals for a solution in “days, not weeks”.

What is the US counterpart to the Home Office and No.10? The NSC and White House? Do the royals think the USG is going to out together an interagency task force to work on this? What the hell are they going to do?

The mirror is reporting Meghan flew back tonight alone.

I wonder if Meghan and Harry were worried that the Queen demand that Archie remain in U.K.? She has legal custody of those minors in direct line for throne, right?

Harry and Meghan using Archie as leverage?

She does indeed. But how far does that go? (I.e. I could see her have custody of George but Archie is so far back in line)

It’s power either way. They were wise to take him off the board.

Please. The queen doesn’t want custody of their baby who is 7th (?) in like to the throne. GMAFB.

Good grief try to keep up.
It’s not about custody. It’s about leverage. They were wise to keep him out of play.

Elsewhere online someone speculated that she's keeping him in Canada so that Megan will have custody in the divorce, after Harry goes back to England m

Goodness I thought they were never getting married! Or was it divorced by the end of the first year? Or is that she’s infertile and he’ll leave her soon?
Can’t keep up.

Don't forget the pages on this very site saying she wasn't pregnant and was faking her pregnancy. " I could never squat like that"

Ensure Meghan and Harry have diplomatic immunity even with semi-permanent residency, find secure approved housing, ensure that protection officers are available at each location (British royals are protected by the Secret Service in the US), and assign them liaisons.

I also have to wonder about British citizenship for Meghan. It was a five year process and she wasn’t supposed to leave Britain for more than a few months. Either she’s abandoned the citizenship request or they’ll give her a workaround.

Outside of their paid pr bubble, everyone can see it.

Immigration fraud is in fashion.

If you’re royal you can get away with a lot and I believe Commonwealth nations, especially Canada, have reciprocal visas and easier citizenship processes with the U.K.

We’ll see what they say.
