I've been watching out for lots of rambling, stream of conscience, over-excited posts with the word GEES (sic) and lots of caps). It seems like this thread is highly visible on google and we're attracting tons of amateur crime solvers. My favorite is the one who suggested that maybe the police are following this thread and that's how they broke the case.

There you are again.....crawl back under your rock! You are such an annoying person. I would hate to be your child

I have no doubt you would. My point is that this forum was a lot more intelligent before Nancy Drew(s) blessed us with their crime solving skills.

Hello! I was just passing through and was hoping to take part in a healthy conversation about the recent events that have affected our community. I see I have instead stumbled into the wrong forum which should appropriately be titled "mothers incapable of having a conversation without sounding like their adolescent children". Carry on, friends! Have a blessed day.

I think this thread was infiltrated by some UMD guys. Just ignore.

Had this tragic event occurred in the heart of Silver Spring or Langley Park, would it go on for 71 pages?

There are nuts everywhere - especially on this thread.

Does the fact that Brittany's family has not said anything publicly have to do with the fact has hasn't been tried yet? If they apologized, they'd be admitting her guilt before her trial. Yes, she very likely did it but I'm guessing her attorney told them not to say anything publicly before her trial, even if she is going to plead guilty.

Why the eff would her family say anything?

Norwood's lawyer already claiming she couldn't possibly have done it...

Unbelievable that he is saying she is NOT guilty but that is his job I guess. I don't think I could do that job if I knew that she was guilty.

And yes it is unfortunate that there are some people that keep showing up on this thread that are true nightmares themselves.

I know this is his job but damn...and so it begins. I pray the jury is intelligent and does not buy unto any BS!

so you think her lawyer should say "oh yeah, she did it, sorry about that?"

You must be new here.

Why is that? Because I should be used to the RUDENESS by now? NOT I just chalk it off as some idiot that doesn't have any social skills but nonetheless is is still ANNOYING

Condescension, when deserved, is not rude. If it shames a stupid person into ceasing communication, the greater good has been served.

And her eight siblings.

It's wise to not make statements like this one. You never know when a family member may develop alcohol/drug issues or have an underlying, possibly undiagnosed, psychiatric disorder and do something terrible. Not saying it happens often, but it's not necessarily a parenting issue.
