Do you and DH / DW smoke or do edibles?

Silly comparison. Drunk people think they're more capable than they are, so they hurt and kill a lot of people.

Stoned people often think they're LESS capable than they truly are, so they're often too paranoid to get behind the wheel when they'd actually be capable of operating a vehicle. https://www.livescience.com/51450-driving-on-marijuana-alcohol-dangerous.html

NOBODY SHOULD DRIVE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ANYTHING. But comparing stoned driving to drunk driving is ignorant.

Spoken like a true druggie. “It’s okay, it’s not as bad as XYZ, there’s no studyyyyyyyy!!!!” Whatever, we all know you’re in denial.

It is funny to see the different views on pot. I think it is a class thing. The people who have clawed their way into the middle class from a poor background are the most vehemently opposed to pot because they have seen their trashy relatives and friends all struggle, but they wrongly attribute the struggles to drug use. Everyone I know who comes from moneyed, successful, and highly educated backgrounds is either comfortable with pot or actively partakes.

^ Then you don’t know me or any of my friends. I come from a UMC background, am wealthy now and in most instances am opposed to pit and don’t use it. Same with all the other adults we hang out with. BTW, your post is so offensive about people who grew up with less money and do classist that you sound uneducated.

I bought a jar of edibles in CO and eat one once in awhile if I'm feeling stressed. They relax me and make me want to clean my house. I definitely don't feel "high" - they are very low dose.

You sound like an idiot. And you didn’t read the link.

The cognitive impairments caused by marijuana are correlated with only modest reductions in driving performance in driving simulations, according to a 2009 study in the American Journal of Addictions.

Um, your post sounds impaired with all the typos. Are you sober?

We're comparing adults who want to use cannabis at home to violent insurrectionists now?

DH and I have edibles maybe 1x per week, and it helps us get relaxed and intimate. I think that is healthy and good 🙂

OT, but why do people need this to feel intimate? Does it mean they’re not able to feel their feelings without it and why would that be?

Not me. I've seen way too many lives ruined by drugs (including dope) and alcohol.

Why do you care?! Wine, pills, porn/erotica, lingerie, massage oil, aphrodisiacs, role playing, flirting with others, fantasies, pot...do you judge all of this, or just the pot?

Me! I had a delta-8 gummy 1 hour ago and feel fantastic. Delta-8 is a kind of THC that remains legal due to a slight difference in molecular structure from regular THC. I buy mine from Lifted Made online.

I have one most nights. It’s less potent than reg THC; kind of feels about the same as 1.5 glasses of wine to me. DH refuses to do it on moral grounds, but of course isn’t able to articulate a difference between that and the whiskey he enjoys sometimes.
