51% of Atlanta is black.

85% of the crowd who would attend the All-Star game are paunchy white guys in sales/C-suite wearing khakis and their company’s branded Under Armor polo shirt.

...And, these "paunchy white guys" would have supported the businesses in Atlanta that are minority-owned and operated. And, the hotels in the area.
MLB screwed up. They will probably end up having the damn game in a state with voting laws more restrictive than GA.
It's a shame that they now have to research every possible site to be sure they agree with their voting laws. Pathetic how politics has invaded sports to this point.

Black Atlanta supports the boycott.

"Black Atlanta" is not a monolith. Your comment sounds terribly racist.

Your name calling is not working here. 90% voted against Trump. That's pretty damn monolithic.

Looks about white.

Oh look they found their token, and surprise! they stuck her right up front!!

You're kidding, right? There are several black people in the photo and other people of color. This is quite a diverse group.
Isn't it interesting that the photo in the tweet featured a fraction of the people that were there - probably taken before the event had begun and before everyone had gotten in place.
When, in fact, there were many more people there and there were people of different ethnic groups.

You don't think they were trying to advance some sort of narrative with this tweet, do you?

NP here.

You're the one that has to be kidding. I count about 70 people in this photo. There are 5, maybe 6 black people (less than 10%) and probably about 5 or so combined Hispanic/Asian people in the photo. About 85% of the photo is white. You really think that this is diverse? You and I have very different definitions of diverse.

Interesting that the blacks in the photo were all late additions based on the earlier photo, my guess is the guv hustled them down from the office to use as standins.

Keisha, Demario, get your butts down here and add some color to this picture. Yes, we need a few of the blacks. Alright, now you get back to work. We don't pay you to take picture's.

Do Democrats approve of the voting laws in Colorado?

Republicans need to stop crying. Marco Rubio, you are a senator from FL: why are you getting involved? Do you too support voter suppression as a way to avenge a red state turning blue?

You know what bothers me and so many citizens? Government never works quickly—unless it’s to enact some nonsense like the Georgia law. Kemp and his boys were all over that!

MLB needs to explain their choice.

The Atlanta Braves and MLB require an id to pick up your tickets. Hmmm.

So stupid. I can't wait to see how they'll try to spin this.

There’s no constitutionally-protected right to pick up baseball tickets at the ballpark.

I didn't realize Colorado had so many of the fans you've described, but MLB certainly picked a pretty non-diverse state.
