Does Delaware allow a commissioner appointed by gerrymandered legislature to unilaterally overturn local election results? |
So now the GOP is in the practice of telling big business what it can or cannot do? THAT is socialism! |
I know what will fix all those racist white guys! Lets take away jobs from black people in Atlanta by boycotting MLB All Star game. That'll show 'um. |
Also it would be just like the GOP to use that as a talking point. "We passed really restrictive voting laws and lost Georgia MLB because of it. Vote Republican!" |
Will the PGA join in? |
Augusta National? The club that didn’t allow black members until early 90’s? Hell naw! |
this board's gonna have a meltdown when they announce they moved it to florida lol |
This is great news!!!! If the Republicans don’t back down maybe our next move is to remove Georgia’s mlb, nba, nhl, and nfl franchises. |
It doesn't look like you understand what's going on. |
If you know anything about the city of Atlanta, then you'd know who those moves would hurt the most. |
I don't know. But, Georgia doesn't have that. |
Elaborate on what part of the law is restrictive. TIA |
Voters will have less time to request absentee ballots, there are strict new ID requirements for absentee ballots, election officials cannot mail out absentee ballot applications to all voters, fewer drop boxes are allowed in future elections than in 2020, offering food or water to people waiting in line to vote is now illegal, the legislature has more control over the election board, mobile voting centers are banned, among many other provisions. You're weclome! |
it will likely be moved to FL or TX because of the lack of covid restrictions in those states. this board will then switch to thinking of MLB as granny murderers rewarding those states' bad behavior instead of champions of social justice. |
You can do full capacity in any blue state this summer if you require attendees to be vaccinated and masked. Businesses are going to pivot to this so fast; they don’t want the liability. Look at the College forum - they are already requiring it for fall in-person attendance. |
