It doesn't look like you understand what's going on.

it will likely be moved to FL or TX because of the lack of covid restrictions in those states. this board will then switch to thinking of MLB as granny murderers rewarding those states' bad behavior instead of champions of social justice.

They don't care about stadium ticket sales for the all star game.

Ask Jackie Robinson or Hank Aaron or Curt Flood about whether baseball shouldn't be wrapped up in politics.

So now the GOP is in the practice of telling big business what it can or cannot do?

THAT is socialism!

Also it would be just like the GOP to use that as a talking point. "We passed really restrictive voting laws and lost Georgia MLB because of it. Vote Republican!"

Elaborate on what part of the law is restrictive. TIA

Time for MLB to pull its headquarters out of NY.

Oh, and maybe drop the contract with China while they're at it..... if we are going to talk about human rights......

Grammys, Emmys, Tony Awards, Golden Globes, Academy Awards: every speech political. Every sport. It starts to turn even people who are behind these issues off. Can we just have a break and have something to enjoy with politics being a part of everything? It's exhausting.

Yes, it is exhausting having to continually fight for civil rights rather than just have half the country accept the other half and let them vote and participate freely in our society. Perhaps if the racist rural white Christians would just accept that they are humans like everyone else, then we could all kick back and enjoy sports and movies for the entertainment that they are.

Remember when President Trump told Americans to boycott the NFL?

I remember.

That has a nice ring to it. Hope they use it.

Stop trying to oppress others and you can get back to your regular mind-numbing programming. Deal?

They should move the game to North Carolina.

I know that God must be a Tar Heel because the sky is Carolina blue!

White Evangelicals have an oversized impact on our national politics at the expense of "the other" - just own it.
