22:28 -- you said you got a Yes for Maret MS-- was it a sibling preference?

there is no waitlist card in the reject letter. far fewer spots in 7th grade--only 6 to 8 spots were open for 7th grade.

Whoever was accepted to FHS, I would like to talk to you. My son currently attends FHS, and is extremely disappointed with the program.

What is FHS?

Oh stuff about how it isn't a reflection of his accomplishments, etc. Blah blah blah. Frankly I only read the "not a space" part. I think there were about 13-14 spots for 9th. Frankly there is no real difference between a Maret waitlist vs a reject letter in terms of outcome. But it's still hard to be rejected!

incorrect. i know of some children that were taken off of the waitlist at Maret, in all divisions. a waitlist letter at Maret is not the same as a reject letter.

A friend whose boy is going into 8th got a YES for Maret, and it was a phone call on Thursday.

Whatever - my other child was on the 9th grade waitlist a couple of years ago and no one came off the waitlist that year. Nor last year from what I understand. So at least for the last 2-3 years at the 9th grade level it didn't make a difference.
