Uh, many privates are open or bring students on campus for limited activities. |
I'm not particularly worried about old white guys walking around outdoors without masks, assuming they're keeping a reasonable distance from others. Statistically the odds of outdoor transmission are incredibly low, unless you're talking about some venue with people incredibly packed in like a concert or sporting event. |
Ew. Your poor kid |
Seriously...gloating about cutting programs for other kids? What a loser. |
Yeah, she's on the hook for the whole amount. |
I am not gloating. I'm listing it as an example of a benefit you will lose. Privates were ALREADY having problems after COVID and us enrolling and then unenrolling is going to make things even worse. If they had opened by now, we would have just waited out the year but these private schools are acting like cowards and dragging parents along for this slow ride toward re-opening. Waste of time and so not worth it! No private school is. So glad our kids can rejoin their neighborhood friends for long MCPS lunches and other fun activities instead of staring at strangers on a screen all day long.

Wow, you're a piece of work. I'm so relieved for your school that you're going elsewhere. You're the type of parent who sucks the air out of every room they enter, thinks their own child is perfect, is entitled and rude, and has no ability to read a room. Just go already and stop with the gloating and complaining and threats. The school will be more than fine. |
Yes, you are literally gloating. In all caps. Relishing having really "stuck it" to us private school parents. Woo, good for you. Betcha can't wait to return to your prior school, feeling all righteous and victorious. Thank God you got away from those awful, demanding, intense and entitled families in private school, huh? So pathetic. |

OMG. I think I know who this person is. The comments and the writing style. Big chip and BIGGER issues. I’m going to grab a few screenshots and pass them along to someone that I know that could confirm. Too funny.

Monthly contract or monthly payment plan. The contract is binding and for the whole tuition unless you got insurance which is then required to have been at the school for a certain number of days before you withdraw. |
This. +1. |
I was sort of blaming the school. The Director of Admissions should have recognized this nut and taken a pass. |
This person is a fake. |
What on earth are you rambling about? You must be talking abut preschool or younger grades? The 45 days was just a game. There is no plan to go back now and at best we will not be back for 2 months. |
The “monthly payment plan” was the first tip. The constant reference to “privates” was another. The “it’s one they talk about on here.A lot[]” was the other. Just an angry person venting while making up things. Sad. |
