And my grocery store always has at least 2-3 people moving in each aisle so that's easily well over 50 customers alone.

Exactly this

Outdoor breweries open all over MOCO with far more than 50 ppl
Elrich is arbitrary and capricious

They are cracking down on the outdoor breweries too, thank goodness. Requiring reservations at Lone Oak as of this week, because the number of people there was ridiculous. Anyone driving by could tell.

This is exactly what BLM is all about ... can we all just be treated equally.

No one was policed. It appears someone or a group of people had inside knowledge of the plan for the graduation. Several made complaints online one called the Health Dept.

Policed means "enforce regulations".

GC was policed and the other schools were not... on a tip, kinda like when Karen calls the cops.

It's funny, it's poetic, it's karma.

This same poster bashing public schools calling everyone Karen. Get a job, dude.

Try again.

No, it’s you.

Anonymous wrote:Look MOCO SUCKS.
Elrich and Gayles have prejudged all the private school Reopening plans and will turn them down.
In the press conference yesterday, they said they want private schools to go remote.
They have already spiked the plan from HC
Private schools make the moco remote plan look bad.

It is going the take a lawsuit and injunction to get these schools open on time.

The county is ignoring the science and logic on schools

💯

I agree. This is politics. The public school parents are winning. They don’t want the privates to go back. They ignore that most privates have a good plan in place and the space and resources to comply with all cdc requirements.

Anyone driving by could tell what? That people were very well spread out on their 30 acre farm?

I’m not against reservation systems or capping the amount of people allowed but it does seem arbitrary on what numbers the county assigns. Silo falls, Close to both lone Oak and good counsel, is constantly jam packed with people too and nobody is capping their numbers.

Clearly, they did. Otherwise, they would have had an in person graduation like Holy Cross, Prep and SJC.

I totally agree. My jewish daughter just graduated from GC (of course without the ceremony) and I have been very happy with many of the more left leaning principles I've seen these past 4 years. The blanket statements from some other posters about the catholic schools being Trump supporters that don't follow the rules with Covid is simply not true and quite ignorant.

LOL. NO they did not. they didn't have a prom. Get your facts right.

Different poster, but I saw this on FB as well (a post from a GC parent with prom pics and pics at the location)

GC definitely did not sponsor a Prom. Some GC parents organized a Prom-like party. I know that for a fact!

It was a GC prom planned by GC parents but GC kept their names off of it for legal reasons.

Either way GC parents had a 100 person party indoors.
