Who will be Governor of Maryland after Hogan?

You don’t have to be a booster to realize that if he gets elected in landslides then people like him.

I would support Steele or Schulz if the alternative is Franchot or one of the fringe left people.

Right? I don't like him at all. But obviously lots of people disagree with me.

A moderate Democrat or Steele. I like Rutherford but my gut tells me he doesn’t have much of a chance.

Especially since he's not running.

Maryland seems to mirror the national mood. There are decent parallels between the party and type of governor we have and who the president is.

When Bush was president we had Ehrlich.

When Obama was president we had O’Malley.

When Trump was president we have Hogan.

With Biden as president, seems pretty obvious we’re gonna get Franchot.

The dem field seems to be clearing for Franchot. He will have by far the most money, and has a lane as the establishment candidate. The others Perez (?), Moore(?) etc will try to run to the far left, but I just dont see it.

Wow, Mike Rosenbaum just declared this morning and he’s fantastic. For those like me who are ho hum about about Franchot, here’s someone who’s an incredibly successful businessman whose businesses have done a ton of good for the state. Please check him out.

I'm excited John King (former Obama ED Secretary) threw his hat in the ring...

I got called for a poll he paid for. It was a terrible poll. Before the poll, I'd never heard of him. After the poll, I decided: Nope, no way.

The idea that a Democratic-establishment guy like Tom Perez will run to the "far left"...

PP, you might want to recalibrate your scale.

Nah PP is right here. Perez has openly flirted with socialism is on the left fringe of the party.

I’m curious what he thinks the point of his campaign is. My guess is that he’s trying to up his profile to run for Senate to replace Cardin when he retires or maybe a house seat after more expected gerrymandering to get rid of Harris who everyone hates.
