| I have randomly binged this show out of sequence and I’m hooked. Can’t wait for season 3. |
They weren’t working together when the affair started. |
|
SPOILER
So Alex Leevy tells Paige she slept with Mitch twice. WHY would she admit this after all this time and effort to hide the truth? Why not say something to the effect “I just told you the man you loved and father to your kids is dead and you’re wondering who he slept with?” And then walk away. |

Anyone watching the new season. This is probably my favorite guilty-pleasure soap right now. Spoiler-y stuff below so don't read if you haven't watched or don't want to know anything.
I love Jon Hamm generally but he didn't do much for me in the first two episodes. He's playing this role a little more tough guy and with less humor -- definitely feels distinct from both Don Draper and the more recent comedic roles he's played. But I'm curious to see where it goes especially with the past link to Stella. Speaking of Stella, I hope we get her character rounded out a bit this season. Looks likely. It's shallow but I love her look and her style on the show. One thing I like about the show is how stylish many of the women are, and not just in that TV news way (like Alex and Bradley). Stella, Laura, and Mia are all versions of very stylish, well-off, powerful NY media women and I love their clothes. I am very glad to be done with Mitch. I think moving the show forward totally past Mitch and past Covid will be refreshing. I was still hooked last season but it was weird and didn't always work. I think they are back in their groove now. I loved the Tig Notaro sighting and hope she comes back. This show manages to cast the most randomly delightful people sometimes. Tig, Mark Duplass, Greta Lee. It's kind of a silly show with really high production values and then the casting always feels like a weird stunt but I love it. |
| It’s a great cast but this season feels pretty generically soap-y so far. I hope it picks up, otherwise meh. |
| Mitch gave the show its dramatic tension. Jon Hamm’s character will presumably occupy that slot, but agree with pp he’s not very interesting thus far. |
| The writing is not good so far. |
|
It’s overly dramatic—-especially the scene with Alex, Chip and her assistant. Also, I cannot get over how Jennifer Aniston’s face looks.
That said, I’m still going to watch. |
| What happened to her face!!! JA looks like an Olsen twin in season 3! |
| The show is just not as good as the sum of its parts. But I still watch for all those parts. |
Way overboard with the botox and filler. She looks like a muppet. Why didn't she just get a lift, would have looked so much better. |
Disagree. I've never thought she was a classic beauty but I think she looks great. |
| What do we think Bradley and Corey are hiding? Something related to finding her brother? |
An affair during COVID? |
I don’t know if it’s botox or screen filter or CGI to get rid of wrinkles but I do believe her eyebrows and forehead do not move as much as they should which, IMO, affects the acting part. |
