I just watched the first two free episodes. Trying to decide if I want to subscribe. Its pretty good and basically a rip off of the Matt Lauer scandal. But Jennifer Anniston is the most one-note actress. Every time she has to convey stress,frustration, she just sighs really hard and moves her bangs out of the way. Just like in Friends. Reese is yelling a bunch but can act circles around her.

Wow, I disagree. I was pleasantly surprised by how dimensional Aniston's character is, and thought Witherspoon's was less well fleshed out. Her screaming at the coal protest was just annoying. Interesting to see Steve Carell in the charming narcissist role, great supporting cast including Billy Crudup and Mark Duplass. I've watched the three available eps, and like the show so far.

I LOVE this show. I agree with the bad reviews - it's over dramatic, you can tell that they started with one approach and then layered the whole Me Too thing over top, and that Reese Witherspoon is too beautiful to really be believed as a struggling reporter. But it's very entertaining and I think Jen Aniston is great - not like award winning great, just entertaining and looks the part (aging entertainer).

Also, it's house porn for me. Love Steve Carroll's house in the Hamptons....could watch scenes of nothing in there all day. And Jen's NY apartment. I'm hooked.

I want to watch but I'm not buying a whole streaming service for one show. Especially not when I know I'm getting disney+ for sure this month.

Just watched the episode with the Ashley interview. I don’t get how she was victimized. I really don’t. She had an affair with him. How is it that HIS life was ruined by this?

I watched the whole season and while I wanted to like it I thought the casting was terrible. Reese Witherspoons accent kept fading in and out, Jennifer Aniston is not a dramatic actress and Steve Carell as the Matt Lauer character just wasn’t believable.
