I am a legal immigrant. I have no problems with ANY of the legal immigrants in 'my town'. They are more than welcome and I do not dislike any of them. (Except the one lady who lets her dog poop on my lawn).

I do see how illegal immigration has negatively affected my community and my kids' school, and I dislike that. I recognize that there needs to be some changes because this cannot continue.

It is in fact a crime. Castro wants to decriminalize crossing the border by removing that particular law when apparently that is the law used to kick out known gang members and human traffickers, even if they aren't currently trafficking .

President Obama's policy wasn't the strictest. He let people go when they weren't criminals and offered up amnesty. He was however the most efficient deportation chief. No question

The parents are voluntarily taking these kids to a country that they have no permission to enter, knowing that they will be separated at the border. It's their choice They could do what my grandparents did - apply through legal channels and wait for approval. That way, they can keep their families together.
