don't worry, no one likes democrats and everyone likes republicans. the whole world correctly sees that republicans are the party of morality and ethics. every time a republican speaks like this an angel gets his wings. (not her wings - women can't be angels, except if they are wearing underwear for vs.) |
Even using the word “potential” is liberal MO - insinuating he did something when the reality is, there have been no accusations of anything. Sorry to disappoint, Jan. |
DP. No wonder liberals are mocked. No one trusts people who slander others for no reason. Oh, except your own gain, of course. Really hope no one falsely accuses you or a loved one of heinous crimes you didn’t commit. Stay golden. |
Oh, you mean like being President while born in another country? Or do you mean like all of the warriors at the FBI who have been combating the Russian crime syndicate who are being systematically removed from their posts? |

Or.... It’s astounding that you have already decided that anything he might have done (no matter how RECENT, mind you) and you would never convict. It doesn’t matter to you that there’s clear evidence of perjury and evidence of financial high jinks including massive debt that was mysteriously paid off, twice. What a perfect example of conservative madness. Refuse to listen any accusation, no matter how good the evidence, then refuse to listen when there’s more evidence. You people have no concept of integrity, yet you’re the first to claim that anyone who disagrees with you is somehow in the wrong. Disgusting. I mean really. He has clearly perjured himself. He clearly can’t manage his finances; someone paid off his debts. And now this? He’s not a decent person and has no business being on the SC. But he perfectly encapsulates what the GOP is and has been: trash. |

LOL. Democrats are now getting used to having FBI doing political work. |
I was hoping it would be about his suspiciously paid up credit cards before the nomination. |
+1 It’s completely rich that the GOP is pretending that this is character slander when they’ve been doing character slander forever. |
Let's play the hypothetical game: What if we learned that a man in his 50s raped a girl when they were in high school, then he blackmailed her into having an abortion? What if we learned that a man in his 50s had consensual sex with a girl which resulted in a pregnancy when they were in HS. The man pretended he didn't know her when he learned of the pregnancy, and she was so humiliated she killed herself. Would these be things you might find relevant? If so, how about we wait and find out what is in that letter before deciding it's NBD. |

Is it suggested to be either of those situations? Do you know anything about this or just having fun spitballing? ![]() |
I am responding to the people above who said that nothing he did in high school could possibly be relevant to him becoming a Sup Ct justice today. I am trying to gauge how far that feeling extends. If it extends all the way to those hypotheticals, then we know that these are just partisans who would support their guy no matter what. If it doesn't extend out that far, then we know that this inquiry into what that letter says is actually important. If you went to law school - which I gauge you did not - then you would be familiar with this sort of puzzling through an issue. |
